‘Tis the season to be planning…
November 6, 2007
And in order to assist all you lovely busy brides who are stressfully planning their wedding, buying christmas gifts, and wondering if you should elope, we’re going to blog about amazing vendors who we LOVE working with. We won’t overwhelm you with a whole list here, but we’ll post periodically about those vendors who go above and beyond for their brides and grooms.
First off – Heceta Head Lighthouse in Yachats, Oregon.
We shot Meg & Aaron’s wedding at Heceta Head on 07/07/07. To begin with, the location is charming. It is nestled in a cleft of the towering Oregon coast with one of Oregon’s most beautiful and famous lighthouses a quick jaunt away from the lightkeeper’s house (also a B&B). The view is too beautiful to describe, so I won’t bother, but needless to say, it is quite stunning.
To continue raving about its wonders, let me say, I was more than impressed with the onsite wedding coordinator/lighthouse keeper who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly.
Finally, the chef is gourmet; not only in appearance (which is quite impressive), but also in flavor and aroma. When we poked our heads in the kitchen, we were bombarded with flavors that tantalized our senses and an efficient and amazing team of chefs.
Here’s a few pictures to give you an idea of how fantastic this location is. It is perfect for a small to mid-size wedding that wants to emphasize the charm and beauty of Oregon.

The little touches.

And finally, the view.
